A dental nurse works closely with the dentist to meet the patients' dental needs. Patients of all ages can be treated by any dental team member, including clinicians, dental technicians/technologists, hygienists, and therapists, with the help of a dental nurse. Some patients merely only a checkup, whilst others require more extensive medical attention. A dental nurse will welcome patients and provide hands-on support during the actual treatment in a dental practice.
